Lentils that have been damaged by frost to the extent that the cotyledon or the seed coat has been discolored equal to or greater than that shown.
A, B and C. Suspect frost damage.
D. is confirmed frost. There is no need to split lentil to confirm damage.
E, F, G and H. The cotyledons are split, showing the 
different kinds of discoloration that are considered frost damage.
