A Bracon hebetor is a minute Braconidae wasp that is an internal parasite to the caterpillar stage of Plodia interpunctella, the Indian meal moth, in the late larval stage of the mediterranian flour moth and the almond moth.
Females paralyze and lay eggs in late instar moth larvae. Each female produces about 100 eggs. On the average, eight larvae develop in one host.
